Lynda Anello brings over two decades of communications and marketing expertise to her role as Communications Director at St. Mary’s. An accredited public relations professional and certified Toastmaster, Lynda’s background spans municipal government, retail, nonprofit leadership, and animal welfare.

Before joining St. Mary’s, Lynda served in senior marketing and communications roles with the City of Charlotte, Susan G. Komen Charlotte, and Fernandes Lumber & Ace Hardware. Her creative energy and strategic vision have helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for community causes, and her events, from fundraising races to BBQ parties, are legendary for bringing people together.

Lynda holds a B.A. in Communications and Public Relations from Jacksonville University and certifications from North Carolina State University and the Roberts Center for Leadership. Whether crafting a newsletter, leading a campaign, or managing social media, Lynda helps ensure that St. Mary’s message of welcome and hope reaches far and wide.
